I don't even have ti think about it i want to do it again! It all started on Friday after school. It was supposed to begin at 4:30 but I had my math tutor so i arrived at 5:30 with some other friends. The first thing we did wasn't exactly what some people would call it "fun". We sat in a circle, look for a problem, and then justify it with evidence, just like a humanities investigation. Then we got into different groups and decided on a problem. The problem me and my groups chose was Tech Education. We found that kids in poor areas did not use tech at its max. But it wasn't exactly going to work because it was too broad. One of the leaders of SET told us he has been trying ti fix that for more than a year and hasn't succeeded yet. So we decided to join another group.
Their idea was to make a school club where we could build fog catchers for small communities in Lima with low water supply. My group loved the idea. On saturday we were all fired up and ready to begin. I became the designer for the nets not only because i really liked designing stuff, but because i was the only one who knew how to use Google Sketchup. It was really easy, even a 10 year old could do it so i did it in a couple of minutes. It was really easy to get together and communicate with each other because we became friends really quickly. we were so passionate about it that we were just throwing ideas all over the place to improve the presentation to our mentors.
