So our new unit in class for IA is the documentary unit. In this unit you and your group must make a documentarie about anything you are interested about, and you must link it with economics.
Its been a bit more over a week now and the group and I (4 members) have decided that we would like to do the economics of ceviche which is basically finding the true cost. Unfortunetly that idea was good enough and we had to come up with a better one, this happened about 4 times.
As we pitched our idea of economics of scale fo our class. We slowly started to get more frustrated. There was a lot of feedback comming in but also our idea was coming down slowly.
At the end of all the feedback, once we saw that our idea was left in the dust, our teacher said it would be a good idea if we could interview some restaruants in refards with our three different ideas (Barriers to Entry, Economies of Scale, and the externalities)
I think this was a great idea! If we set the group to ask the three different category questions, we will then be able to see which one of the areas is more viable for the project.
If as we interview the restaurant owners about the three ideas, depending on the detail and length of their answer we can determin which of the three would en up being great for the documentary.
