Classes are going in and out so fast! The second week of Innovation Academy at Colegio Roosevelt is coming to an end and I must say that I have learned a lot of things in the marketing area. This is all thanks to Mr. Wichtel's help in teaching us about marketing. I was very intrigued by all he said because he knew about marketing and did a really good job explaining the terminology. Some of the things I learned is that there are three areas in marketing: Commercial Marketing, Cost-Related Marketing, and Corporate Image. In Comercial Marketing the company looks for the Who, What, and How. They first look at the audience to who they are trying to sell their product, in addition, its also important the "When" they announce this product. For example, the company in charge of Apronax would target an audience with soar throats. However, they will not make a comercial of it in summer because its very unlikely that people have soar throats in summer. What they would do is make a comercial in winter, that is when people get ill and colds which make them get soar throats and more likely to buy a product.
